KIDStuf 252 November UPDATE...
we are having so much fun every Sunday morning! we meet in the gym at 10:30 each week for "power up", which is praise and worship, bible story, prayer, and learning of the virtue. if your children are tired after church, that's because we keep them moving most of the time! this is not your typical "sit down and listen to a story" type of teaching. we do "hand motions" to each song, which sometimes takes our entire bodies! the kids love it! we do sit for most of the story, but there are usually volunteers to act out part of the story. Children remember more by seeing it, than by just hearing. then it's back on our feet for more activity!
THE KIDS ARE SUCH A JOY TO WORK WITH, AND TO SEE THEM LEARNING, APPLYING GOD'S WORD TO THEIR LIVES, AND HAPPINESS ON THEIR FACES DURING OUR KID-STYLE PRAISE AND WORSHIP....IT IS SUCH A BLESSING TO ALL OF US WORKING WITH THEM! IF YOU CAN BE A HELPER, FOR CROWD CONTROL OR RESTROOM BREAKS, PLEASE SEE TONI ORNS. WE NEED YOU! EVERYONE HAS A PART IN GOD'S KINGDOM, AND WE ALL CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
november's VIRTUE IS ABOUT cooperation- working together to do more than you can do alone. We will learn what cooperation means and how we can do that more effectively for our families and for god.
encourage YOUR CHILDREN, AND HAVE THEM DO THEIR GOD TIME CARDS. THESE CARDS ARE THEIR PERSONAL DEVOTIONS FOR THE WEEK. IT HELPS REINFORCE WHAT WE ARE TEACHING AT CHURCH. WE ALSO HAVE OUR FAMILY VIRTUE PACKS, FOR FAMILY DEVOTIONS. THESE LAST FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH, 4 TIMES A WEEK, FOR A MINIMAL COST OF $10. IT IS WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT. THINK YOU DON'T HAVE TIME?? THINK AGAIN! THERE ARE MEAL TIME, DRIVE TIME, MORNING TIME, AND BEDTIME DEVOTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. AS PARENTS, WE DON'T HAVE TIME NOT TO. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. TALK TO TONI ORNS.

LOTS OF WORK AND DEDICATION GO INTO THESE SERVICES, SO COME OUT AND SEE WHAT ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT! each month there are more people, so come early for a good seat!

CALLING ALL KIDS AGES 5-11 YEARS OLD...
If you would like to be an usher, greeter, or door person, WE NEED YOU! Please see Pastor Bessie and let her know you would like to serve the Lord in this way! Children ushers, greeters and door people serve when there is a fifth Sunday in the month. That is designated as YOUR DAY. Let us know, and we will get you on the schedule! Thank You!
