Heritage Church has many ministries where Christian men and women can serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please call the office for more information about any of these ministries and activities.

Benevolence Pantry~
We are starting a new outreach and need your help. The Benevolence Pantry will be making up boxes to take to families who have lost loved ones. There is so much to do when there is a death in the family and this would be one way to show our love by helping out with some of the essentials.

Items needed include:

paper or plastic plates

paper cups (hot and cold)

plastic silverware

napkins

paper towels

toilet paper

sugar and creamer packets

tea bags

colorful wrapping paper.

PRAYER TEAM:
We are in need of dedicated people who are earnestly willing to pray for the church body. Areas that need to be filled are:

*Prayer team to meet at either location regularly

*Prayer team for hospital and hospice visits

*Receive prayer requests by phone

*Receive prayer requests by e-mail

1Peter 3:12...."the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer." Please contact Carole Sayre or Pastor Ruth Cunning for either location. If you want to be involved in church, but time constraints or "life" is just in the way, this is a nice way to do something for the Lord. Prayer can be said at any time, day or night, and it is such a blessing to watch what the Lord can do with a prayer. Think and pray about this ministry opportunity.

WCG - Women of the Church of God

The WCG's mission is to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ, promote spiritual and personal growth, build friendship and interdependence, and widen mental horizons. The WCG also aims to support the united ministries of the Church of God through gifts of finance and leadership.

Ladies Group

The Ladies group at Heritage has monthly gatherings to promote fellowship and spiritual growth. The ladies also have a Bible study and participate in other spiritual and social activities.

Men's Group

The Men's organization attends regional and state meetings and participates in other spiritual and fellowship activities throughout the year. Our men's group meets once each week for breakfast and fellowship. Look on the church calendar within this site for times and places!

Prayer Group

Each Tuesday at 7:00pm at our Dorr St. building the Prayer Group meets for a time of intercessory prayer. This is a special time for those with the gift of intercessory prayer to meet with the Savior and pray for the needs of others. If you have this spiritual gift, and would like more information, please see Pastor Ruth.

Bridge Ministries

The primary goal of Bridge Ministries is to reach the un-churched through spreading the Gospel of Jesus. This also includes promoting Heritage Church of God as a place where people can grow in Christ's love and experience God's love in fellowship with other Christians.

Visitation Ministry

In John 5:12, the Lord commands us to love one another as He has loved us. To fulfill this commandment, we at Heritage are dedicated to loving, encouraging, comforting, witnessing, and meeting the spiritual and physical needs of shut-ins through our Visitation Ministry.
