Race & Classic Car Show in Pictures
The weekend started with the 4th Antique and Race Car show on Saturday April 10 from 12:00-5:00pm. It started out a little chilly but the weather became beautiful with the sun shining brightly all day. We had a great turn out of people of all ages. We had many classic cars of all types, colors and sizes. We even had a 1951 fire engine from the Monclova Township Fire Department thanks to Kevin Bernhard. It was a beauty and all the adults and children enjoyed seeing it. We also had many race cars and their drivers from all from the local racetracks in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. At the end of the day the racecars and some classic cars took laps around the church parking lot. It was a great day of family fun with great food thanks to the “Men in the Kitchen”. The event was sponsored by the Children’s Ministries Special Event Team and the money that was raised from the “Silent Auction”, children’s auction, and the food goes to support all of the children’s ministries at Heritage Church of God. We would also like to give special thanks to Charlie and Matt Orns for all of the hard work and planning of this event. We would also like to thank all of the drivers for bringing out their race cars and classic cars. Thank you to everyone who donated something to the “Silent Auction”. Last but not least, thank you to everyone that came out and worked so hard to make the day such a success.
